ABOUT US
Mike Danton Hockey Academy is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Emulating the ever-changing game of hockey, we recognize the need for skills being completed at high rates of speed in smaller areas on the ice. We provide a variety of programs that will increase your skill set within realistic areas of ice that you will utilize during competition. With more than 25 years of hockey experience, allow us to improve your game and stay ahead of today's competition.

MIKE DANTON
Owner, Operator, Head Instructor
Mike was drafted in the 5th round to the New Jersey Devils, and played parts of four seasons with New Jersey and St. Louis. Mike is an OHL, CIS and Polish league champion. With more than 10 years of professional experience in North America and Europe, Mike has the on-ice knowledge and understanding of what it takes to get to the next level. Mike is also a double major graduate from Saint Mary's University in, both, Psychology and Criminology. Currently, Mike is completing his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science degree at the University of New Brunswick while researching how mental health affects sports performance in Junior A hockey players.
