The New Scotland Schooners spring/summer program is based out of the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). We do not compete at every age level, and we do not have multiple tiers/teams at each age group. Currently, we are concentrating on the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015 age groups. Our focus is to gather the best players at the age group and compete against the best competition in the Maritimes and North America.

Our goal is to develop our players throughout the course of the minor hockey season and off-season. We believe that development is paramount, and focusing on a concentrated group of individuals - consistently - is the best facilitator in achieving peak on-ice performance.
